CREATIVE ENGAGEMENT WITH INSTITUTIONS
In partnership with a major healthcare institution, we developed a nine-minute educational video to improve the patient experience of children and their families during Emergency Department visits. The video features original music, digital sketches, photography and videography developed by over 20 designers, and has been used to welcome thousands of children who have visited the Pediatric ER since 2016.
ADDRESS FOOD ISSUE WITH community organization
We maintain relationships with local community organizations and seek opportunities to support their development. We have been working with Land’s Sake, a non-profit community farm dedicated to food production and education, to develop a long-term master plan for their 40-acre farmland since 2017. In alignment with our sustainability approach, our plan strives to enhance the farm experience and improve the connection with the community it serves.
RELIEF REGIONAL CRISIS WITH HEALTHCARE EXPERTISE
Our expertise in healthcare enables us to provide design and build assistance to underserved and vulnerable communities in need of treatment and care, even outside the US. After the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010, the PAYETTE healthcare team helped design a 13,700 SF maternity ward and neonatal care center through a multi-year collaboration.
