Katelyn Gosselin recently joined the firm’s ranks of registered architects. Today we celebrate her accomplishments.
Since joining PAYETTE in 2009, Katelyn has impacted several projects including work at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Children’s Hospital, VA Brockton and Tufts University. As part of the design team on such projects, Katelyn works to develop and implement BIM Management Plans to ensure seamless integrations of multiple design, energy and construction models. She received her B.Arch. cum laude in 2006 from Syracuse University. In 2012, Katelyn spoke about Revit processes at the annual Autodesk University conference.
What inspires you?
“Nature’s fabric”— topography + raw materials + textures +colors, new and innovative materials, crisp clean typography.
What is the best part of your job?
Designing to improve the patient experience, to help doctors perform their work better. Architecture informs how we use space and anything I can do to make that better is the best part of my job.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned so far?
Patience and clear communication.
