Miep Keller recently joined the firm’s ranks of registered architects. Today we celebrate her accomplishments.
Miep joined PAYETTE in 2008 following her graduation from Syracuse University with a B.A. in Architecture. Since joining the firm she has worked exclusively on the Harvard Art Museums project with Renzo Piano Building Workshop and has discovered her passion for exterior wall strategy. In addition to her project work, Miep participated in the firm’s research initiative regarding thermal bridges, for which the firm received an AIA Upjohn Research Grant.
What inspires you?
Simplicity in design, contrasting shapes and colors, general playfulness in color, texture and patterns
What is the best part of your job?
Everyday is different.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned so far?
I’ve learned that I can tackle any issue that arises by breaking it down one step at a time. And I’ve learned to not take everything so seriously.
What’s been your greatest accomplishment so far?
Completing my exams and completing a project and being proud of it.
