We are pleased to announce PAYETTE has won at new project at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (UPMC) for a Master Plan Study of all instructional and student spaces located in Scaife Hall. This study will help the School of Medicine identify and prioritize construction projects to modernize all instructional and student spaces in the school. The goal is to provide a strategy to bring the school in line with peer institutions.
We will approach this study by understanding the history of the building, UPMC’s teaching pedagogy and personality. We plan to advocate for new spaces with new, sustainable energy aspirations and will strive to create special places for UPMC’s students and faculty. We are excited about this project and believe that we can unlock the true potential that exists within the historic bones of Scaife Hall and create great educational spaces that will be celebrated by both students and faculty for years to come.
