Caitlin Cashner recently joined the ranks of the firm’s registered architects. Today we celebrate her accomplishments.
Since joining PAYETTE in 2015, Caitlin has worked on a number of healthcare projects, including our XiangYa Hospital in Changsha, Boston Children’s Hospital Waltham and Beth Israel Deaconess New Inpatient Building. Caitlin has also worked on a number of small pharmacy renovations at Boston Children’s Hospital. She earned her Master of Architecture degree from University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning in 2015 and her Bachelor’s degree from Washington University in Saint Louis in 2011.
What inspires you?
Logic puzzles, how-it’s-made videos, sci-fi and fantasy novels, landscape gardening books.
What is the best part of your job?
The people I work with at PAYETTE – I am inspired daily by their enthusiasm, curiosity, and work ethic. Plus they teach me new things and are fun to be around.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned so far?
Work hard and believe in yourself.
The sky is the limit: if you could design or redesign anything, what would it be?
A house for my Mom.
