Stephenie Harper recently joined the firm’s ranks of registered architects. Today we celebrate her accomplishments.
Stephenie joined PAYETTE in 2013. She graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ohio State in 2005. During her time at PAYETTE, Stephenie has worked on several projects including Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, Northeastern University, Boston University and Williams College.
What inspires you?
Finding order in apparent chaos.
What is the best part of your job?
Always getting to learn how things work. Whether it’s learning how different aspects of the project are run, digging into our software, or learning about construction sequencing and trade coordination, I continually get to learn more about how the world fits together.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned so far?
The people around me know more than I can imagine, and are almost always willing to share their knowledge.
The sky is the limit: if you could design or redesign anything, what would it be?
I’d like to design new software that helps us work more efficiently.
