What You Have Been Told About Parametric Modeling is Wrong!

In March, our Building Scientist Chris Mackey visited the London office of Foster + Partners to present on parametric modeling with his colleague, Mostapha Sadeighpour Roudsari. Chris and Mostapha, who are two co-founders of the Grasshopper environmental plug-in Ladybug, addressed several misconceptions about parametric environmental modeling and discussed its true potential for supporting an iterative design process. They presented their personal journeys through the hype cycle of parametric modeling and shared lessons they have learned from developing Ladybug Tools. Chris and Mostapha also shared their plans for the future of Ladybug Tools and what is currently under development.
