As a member of the environmental community, we’re supporting the green building movement. Join us this week (August 26 – August 31, 2013) as we reach out to federal elected officials to remind them: Healthy, high-performing LEED buildings work. The USGBC plans to mobilize green building voices over social media before elected officials return to Washington in anticipation of a potential anti-LEED amendment to the Shaheen-Portman bill. We’ll be using the hashtag #LEEDworks on Twitter to discuss savings, benefits and more about the need for energy efficient and green buildings.
