David arrived at PAYETTE in 2006 and has worked on an array of award-winning projects for science and education. He is a cheerful force of positivity, creativity, mentoring and excellence in laboratory design who inspires confidence from clients, engineers and his teammates alike.
Beginning with Princeton’s Center for Theoretical Sciences and their Frick Chemistry Building, projects followed at Utah State, Ipsen, Amherst College, Northeastern University, Skidmore College, Houghton College and complex renovations at MEDITECH Canton and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Laboratory.
One of his most significant contributions to date is the design of a new glass addition for the School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which helped the University break from its red brick tradition. Having recently completed the renovation to relocate the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center ‘s Joslin Diabetes Institute to the Center for Life Sciences, David now leads the design and documentation for the most technically demanding specialty laboratories within Johns Hopkins University’s new Life Sciences Research Building.
